Guangdong Port

Liantang Port

Liantang Highway Port is located in Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. It borders Luosha Road to the north and extends southward to the Shenzhen River. Known as the “Heung Yuen Wai Border Control Point” in Hong Kong, it serves as a crucial eastern gateway in the major cross-border transportation framework of “westbound and eastbound routes” between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In September 2008, Shenzhen and Hong Kong jointly decided to construct the Liantang Port; Construction commenced in November 2013; in October 2019, the State Council approved its opening to the public; in May 2020, it passed national inspection; in August 2020, Liantang Port officially opened with cargo inspection functions activated; in February 2023, passenger inspection functions commenced. Liantang Port employs a “two-places, two-inspections” clearance model with direct access for passengers and vehicles, featuring a “one-stop” customs clearance process. Its designed clearance capacity is 30,000 passenger trips per day and 17,850 vehicle trips per day (including 15,000 freight vehicles, 2,000 passenger cars, and 850 buses). The peak passenger flow has now exceeded 100,000 per day, with an average daily volume of 65,000.
